1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the OLQ AI assistant ("the App"). By using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Who can use it

OLQ is intended for learners of all ages. If you are under 13, we ask that a parent or guardian reviews and agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

3. The service

OLQ uses AI models to answer questions, explain concepts, and generate study aids such as quizzes, flashcards and tests. The service relies on external AI providers whose availability and quality may change without notice.

4. Acceptable use

  • Do not use the App for anything illegal or harmful.
  • Do not upload content you have no right to share, or that is offensive, private, or sensitive.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or abuse the service.
  • Do not use the App to cheat on graded exams or assessments where use of AI is prohibited.

5. Accuracy & no guarantee

AI can make mistakes. OLQ may provide incorrect or incomplete answers, especially for advanced, ambiguous, or niche topics. OLQ can make mistakes. Please verify important answers. Always cross check critical information, and consult a teacher or reliable source before relying on any answer. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

6. Your content

The questions you type, the images you attach, and the study materials you generate are yours. We do not claim ownership of your content. To enable the service, you grant us a limited licence to process your content to generate answers and study aids.

7. External AI providers

Answers and generated content come from external AI services. Your prompts (and any attached images) may be sent to these providers to generate the response. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of those providers if you want more detail.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OLQ and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or reliance on its answers.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
